Part of the commonwealth series, a set of five interstial castings comissioned by Buffalo Arts Studio to document the social, physical, and emotional support provided by local health and human service organizations like Aspire WNY, Inc. iXpress, Cantalician/Diversified Labor Solutions, and the Buffalo Arts Studio Jump Start program. Buttress is the interstitial space between an Apsire Western NY
employee and a participant in the program. It is the negative space between them as one helps the other navigate her wheelchair.
