Yes We Cannibal is an artist run project space that understands arts praxis as experiments in living. Co-founded by Mat keel and Liz Lessner in 2020 we opened our doors a week before the pandemic shutdown. Located at 1600 Government Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, we have a gallery that hosts exhibitions, performances, talks, dinners, and other events. We are also home to a mutual aid community fridge, a food forest, and a cannibal reading room. Our Meat Meet Salon Series ran most Sundays during 2021 and 2022 from 4-6pm. We host musicians, philosophers, authors, film makers, performances and artist talks.  We are committed to artistic freedom in all senses of the word and almost all events have no pay wall.
